Heather M. Schisler is an associate attorney at KNR, where she represents clients in complex personal injury and wrongful death cases. With more than two decades of legal experience, she brings a comprehensive and strategic approach to every case, guiding clients from initial filing through trial with precision and dedication.

Prior to joining KNR in 2026, Attorney Schisler built a diverse legal background spanning private firms, in-house counsel, and public service. She has extensive experience in employment law, including serving as in-house counsel where she achieved 100% compliance across all audits and developed company-wide policies to ensure adherence to EEOC regulations, including creating guidelines to support lactating employees in the workplace. She also previously served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, further strengthening her litigation and courtroom experience.

In private practice, Attorney Schisler has held significant leadership roles, including serving as a managing attorney and later as a litigation supervisor overseeing firmwide operations. She advanced rapidly into these leadership positions, demonstrating both strong legal acumen and the ability to effectively manage teams and complex caseloads. Throughout her career, she has consistently delivered exceptional results, including achieving the highest attorney fee recoveries at multiple firms.

Attorney Schisler has handled numerous trials and is known for her ability to manage complex cases efficiently while maintaining a client-centered focus. Her approach is rooted in empathy, responsiveness, and a deep commitment to advocating for individuals during some of the most challenging times in their lives.

She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, graduating with High Honors and earning Dean’s List recognition every semester. While in law school, she was a member of the Moot Court team and earned national recognition as a semi-finalist in both the Pepperdine and Vanderbilt Moot Court competitions. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, cum laude, from the University of Cincinnati.

Outside of her legal practice, Attorney Schisler is a dedicated runner and cancer survivor who brings resilience and determination to both her personal and professional life.
