Michelle McGrath is an associate attorney at KNR, where she represents clients in estates and guardianships in the Probate Court and facilitates settlement approvals in all 88 Ohio counties. From obtaining Letters of Authority, through Inventory, Account, Settlement, and closing, Michelle supports litigation, clients, and to help make the probate process as smooth and manageable as possible. In minor settlement and guardianship matters, she especially enjoys working with children and their families, guiding them through the process and easing anxieties surrounding court appearances.
Prior to joining KNR, Michelle practiced law in private firms focusing on probate, estate planning, and workers’ compensation litigation on behalf of injured workers. Her practice is centered on serving clients with care, compassion, and empathy during some of the most challenging times in their lives.
Outside of work, Michelle enjoys yoga, swimming, hiking, pottery, gardening, and cheering on the Cleveland Guardians. She also loves traveling anywhere warm and sunny. Michelle lives in Broadview Heights, Ohio, with her husband and their three children.
Michelle and her family are parishioners at St. Basil the Great in Brecksville and enjoy volunteering in their local community and parish. She also supports Cleveland Angels, an organization dedicated to assisting local children and foster families.
