KNR Legal Blog
It takes a strong law firm to go up against large, powerful insurance companies. It takes an even stronger firm to do it for 15 years.
In 2020, Kisling, Nestico & Redick celebrates 15 years of practice in Ohio. In that time they have served more than 10,000 clients and recovered millions for the victims of car crashes, truck wrecks, and other personal injury accidents.
With 11 office locations, KNR’s team of 35 attorneys and more than 100 support staff go farther than ensuring victims recover the compensation they deserve. KNR also engages the community and focuses on providing truly innovative legal service.
This rapid growth and success also gives KNR the resources you want in a personal injury firm. Our attorneys are genuine trial lawyers and their in-depth knowledge of the personal injury process gives clients an edge against any insurer looking to take advantage.
Afterall, when you are fighting for what matters, you should trust the one who’s always been there and will be tomorrow.
In 2005, Gary Kisling, Rob Nestico, and Robert Redick joined together to form a new, client-centered law firm – one that would provide stellar representation for those who need it most.
From that simple idea, KNR’s slogan laid out the focus, “Hurt in a car?call KNR.” This highlights the firm’s desire to listen to clients, understand their needs, and guide them through what may be a very difficult period.
Now, with a team that has more than 500 years of combined experience, KNR fights back against insurance companies that often prey on injury victims by trying to deny or delay claims.
We also believe in caring for people long before they need legal representation. We frequently take part in community events and give back whenever we can. Whether it means promoting safety initiatives or just being active members in the Ohio communities we serve, this is how we build on our reputation. We’re not just the lawyers you call when you’re injured. We also contribute and invest in the cities where we live and work
At KNR, we prioritize giving back to the community through volunteering and financial donations. We have raised/contributed more than $450,000 for charitable causes and organizations over the last 15 years.
Some of our notable contributions include:
We place a special focus on Christmas each year. We often bake cookies, give away stockings, make and donate blankets, pay off layaways, and more. We recognize the stress families feel around the holidays. We do our part to help some families enjoy the season a little bit more.
KNR also provides employees with a Volunteer PTO benefit, granting them with eight hours of paid time off to spend volunteering at a nonprofit of the employee’s choice.
At KNR, we know the way to a healthier, safer future is for teens and young adults to receive a good education. But in recent years, the cost of going to college or graduate school has skyrocketed. It’s difficult for students to pay tuition, room and board, and various fees. To that end, we offer an annual scholarship to help young adults pay for college.
Annually, we give away a scholarship that targets distracted driving. KNR’s Stop Distracted Driving Scholarship’s winner will receive $5,000 toward paying for higher education. To win the scholarship, applicants must develop a plan to persuade young drivers to avoid distracted driving. Applicants are encouraged to be creative in how they submit their applications.
KNR’s scholarship program has been a clear success, with students developing many ideas to prevent distracted driving.
In addition to our work in the community, we focus on providing the best services to our clients. We are gratified that our efforts are recognized by the legal community. Over the past 15 years, we have received several awards and accolades, including:
What is more important to us, though, are our clients’ testimonials of our work on their behalf.
“WHEN I LOOKED UP EVERYBODY AND SAW KNR, IT LOOKED A LOT LIKE A FAMILY…I FEEL LIKE I MADE THE BEST DECISION. IF A FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER WAS EVER IN AN ACCIDENT, I’D REFER THEM IMMEDIATELY.”
– Jonathan R.
“THERE WAS ALWAYS SOMEONE THERE TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS…I’D LIKE TO TELL THEM THANKS.”
– Stephen W.
In 2020 KNR celebrates 15 years, but we’re not used to resting on our laurels. Insurance companies spend their time and considerable resources trying to deny injury victims what they deserve. We’ll continue speaking up for the injured as well as their families. We’ll find new ways to fight back and deliver more to our clients and community. We do this because it’s not just what great lawyers do. it’s what you expect from a great neighbor.
We will continue to provide aggressive legal service to victims who have been injured, and focus on building our communities in the future. We plan on developing innovative ways to reach out to the community and build our services.
