Thanksgiving is not only a time to give thanks but a time to give back.

As an Ohio personal injury firm, Kisling, Nestico & Redick is blessed to have the opportunity to serve our community. On Friday, November 22, 2019, Team KNR will accept donations and prepare meals for those in need, as well as GIVE AWAY 1,000 TURKEYS as part of our 9th Annual Coats & Cans for Kids Turkey Giveaway.

KNR will distribute 1,000 turkeys to the first 1,000 families that provide a donation of a non-perishable food item or gently used coat. The event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. at 3412 W Market St., Fairlawn, Ohio 44333 with all donations benefiting the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, Providence House & May Dugan Center.

We hope you come to make a donation and lend your support to those with a little less this Thanksgiving. Last year, KNR provided over 86,763 meals – including 1,000 turkeys! Over 8,000 pounds of food were collected, and 345 coats were donated to the Salvation Army and Volunteers of America.

“KNR looks forward to this event every year,” said Rob Nestico, managing partner at KNR. “We spend our days helping people in Ohio when they’ve been hurt, but by working with the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, we can make a difference in the lives of people in need by serving and giving back to our community.”

For more information about the event or if you don’t need a turkey, but still want to help, you can visit KNR’s event page and make a donation to the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. You can also RSVP to the event on Facebook, and Akron Metro RTA is offering FREE* RIDES to and from KNR to the location.

You’ll need to download and print the form, available here, and present it to the bus operator for you and your family to ride FREE. This offer is only valid two hours before and two hours after the event.

Thanksgiving is a special holiday, as it is about sharing a meal and memories with friends and family. Its sole purpose is to take the time to be thankful, and at KNR we think this will be our best Turkey Giveaway yet.
