Our client, a middle-aged female, was traveling down a rural road in Richland County when she was t-boned by a young driver who failed to stop at a stop sign. The impact caused both vehicles to leave the roadway and come to a rest in a nearby field. There was significant damage to both vehicles and loss of consciousness by our client, who was subsequently transported to the ER. The collision caused multiple abrasions, bruising, injury to her ear, dizziness, lightheadedness, vertigo, neck, back, temporary short-term memory loss, and nausea. Due to her injuries, she underwent multiple months of physical therapy. The other driver admitted to and accepted fault for the collision. The claim was resolved for $80,000.
