Akron, OH, November 21, 2013 – Akron based personal injury law firm, Kisling, Nestico and Redick, LLC (KNR), gave away 1,000 turkeys in exchange for canned goods benefiting the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank today.
“This is the first year we’ve done a Thanksgiving food drive and the turnout was so overwhelming and exciting, I look forward to making it a tradition at KNR,” says Managing Partner, Rob Nestico. “We’ve worked closely with the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank in the past, most recently for the Polar Bear Jump in which we raised close to $11,000. They are a great organization and we love being able to work with them to give back to our community.”
The holiday season is just beginning at KNR, they serve as a drop-off location for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program which is currently running and are raising funds for the Selfless Elf 5k Run, again benefiting the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, scheduled for next month. “We’ve built this practice on being a voice for people in unfair circumstances. I’m very proud that our attorneys and staff continue to take that stance and donate their time and money to helping people in need, not just during the holiday season, but throughout the year as well,” Nestico says.
