KNR Wins National Class-Action Lawsuit

Jan 08, 2015 Press Release

Akron, OH, January 8, 2015 – Ohio-based law firm Kisling, Nestico & Redick, LLC (KNR) reached a settlement in a national class-action lawsuit representing over 1,000 people against a California company.

Acting as lead co-counsel, KNR Managing Partner, Rob Nestico and Attorney John Reagan, together with attorneys from the Los Angeles, CA, based firm, Kabateck Brown Kellner, LLP, successfully proved Key Health Medical Solutions, Inc. had been inflating and manipulating billing statements appearing to be medical service charges received by patients following car accidents.

In Karen Washington v. Key Health Medical Solutions, Inc., KNR uncovered Key Health would regularly purchase bills from medical providers then charge their patients original medical charges plus additional unsubstantiated fees. Key Health disguised the fees and billed the patients as if they were the actual medical provider.

“Being in a car accident is difficult enough. To then be misled and taken advantage of by companies simply out to make a profit is unjust and plain wrong. It’s the entire
reason firms like KNR exist,” says Nestico.

Kisling, Nestico & Redick is a personal injury law firm providing representation for Ohio residents. KNR has gained a reputation as one of the state’s leading firms due to KNR’s personal service, inside knowledge of the insurance industry, and extensive legal experience.
