KNR donates to Foodbank, hosting Turkey Giveaway

Akron, OH (Akron.com) – Kisling, Nestico & Redick (KNR) employees donated $20,000 to the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank and helped package 1,000 turkeys for families in need. The group is shown above during the check presentation.

The turkeys will be distributed during KNR’s annual Coats & Cans for Kids Turkey Giveaway tomorrow, Nov. 16 to the first 1,000 families that provide a donation of a nonperishable food item or gently used coat. The event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. at 3412 W. Market St. in Fairlawn. All donations will benefit the Foodbank, The Salvation Army & Volunteers of America, according to KNR officials.
