Law.com Features KNR Founding Partner Rob Nestico on Building a Firm and the Impact of a Good Deed | KNR

Kisling, Nestico & Redick Founding Partner Rob Nestico was featured in Law.com, sharing his journey into personal injury law, the founding of KNR, and the importance of making a lasting difference in people’s lives.

Nestico’s path to becoming an attorney began at age 15, when he was seriously injured in a car crash. His family struggled to navigate the insurance claims process, an experience that ultimately inspired him to advocate for others facing similar challenges.

After gaining experience on the defense side, Nestico co-founded KNR in 2005 with Gary Kisling and Robert Redick in Akron, Ohio. The firm has since grown from three attorneys and three paralegals into one of Ohio’s largest personal injury law firms, with 12 offices serving across the state, including Akron, Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati.

Nestico also discussed his commitment to giving back to the communities KNR serves. One act of kindness that left a lasting impression involved giving concert tickets to a young cancer patient, an experience that reinforced his belief in the power of helping others. That philosophy continues through initiatives such as KNR Cares, the firm’s community giving program, and the Nanye Barber Tribute Fund, which provides free swim lessons to children in communities including Akron, Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati.

Throughout the feature, Nestico emphasizes the importance of investing in people, building strong community relationships, and creating a firm that will continue to make a difference for generations to come.
