Blue lines painted on Akron’s streets guided thousands of runners through the 2025 Akron Marathon, and Team KNR was proud to be part of the action. From competing in the Half Marathon and Team Relay to keeping athletes hydrated at the KNR Fluid Station at Mile 22.8, our staff showed up with energy, teamwork, and a shared commitment to community spirit.
For KNR, race day wasn’t just about pounding the pavement—it was about building endurance, cheering one another on, and supporting an event that has become a cornerstone of the Akron community. Our staff runners embraced the challenge of both the Half Marathon and relay, proving that perseverance and teamwork are values we bring not only to the courtroom, but also to the racecourse.
At Mile 22.8, one of the toughest points in the race, Team KNR volunteers staffed a fluid station, handing out water, sports drinks, and encouragement. For many runners, that boost of energy made the difference between slowing down and pushing through the final stretch.

The Akron Marathon is a community celebration as much as it is a race. Proceeds benefit Akron Children’s Hospital and local programs that directly impact families across Northeast Ohio. By running, relaying, and volunteering, KNR continues its tradition of giving back, strengthening communities, and investing in Ohio’s future.

Whether we’re advocating for clients, supporting nonprofits, or fueling fellow participants, KNR believes in advocacy that goes beyond the courtroom. The marathon reflects the values we live every day: endurance, resilience, and teamwork.
We invite you to participate in local events like the Akron Marathon, support charitable causes, and celebrate our community’s resilience. Together, we can go farther—one mile, one case, one cause at a time.
