Friday, March 8, 2019 – International Women’s Day (IWD) – To celebrate International Women’s Day, Kisling, Nestico & Redick is featuring women in leadership positions at our firm.
As Ohio personal injury lawyers, we are dedicated to providing community members with the means to pursue legal claims after being injured in an accident. We are also passionate about honoring the women who help drive our firm’s purpose, making “Kisling, Nestico & Redick” a household name throughout the state.
Since its founding in 2005, Kisling, Nestico & Redick has built a reputation for aggressive advocacy and compassionate legal help following car crashes, truck accidents, slip and falls, and other personal injury situations. This status is due in large part to the hardworking, dedicated women who work to serve our clients and ensure they have all the help they need following an accident.
What is International Women’s Day?
Since the early 1900s, IWD has been a global celebration, marking the various achievements of women around the world. It is a day to commemorate the influence women have had on various industries, including – but not limited to – law, politics, and culture/the arts.
International Women’s Day is about unity, and no single group operates or is responsible for its operation. As such, it’s celebrated around the world by various organizations who respect and honor the values of the day, which include:
- Justice
- Dignity
- Hope
- Equality
- Collaboration
- Tenacity
- Appreciation
- Respect
- Empathy
- Forgiveness
Many groups across the globe adopt a theme – such rural and urban activism influencing women’s lives (2018), women in a changing work world (2017), or gender equality (2016) – for their IWD celebrations, which then carry on throughout the year. The theme for 2019 is #BalanceforBetter, which encourages a more gender-balanced world, be it in a conference room, at an academic institution, or elsewhere.
Many International Women’s Day events are taking place across Ohio, including a rally in Cleveland, a multicultural dinner in Youngstown, a conversation on women’s issues at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus, a luncheon in Toledo, and more.

International Women’s Day 2019 at KNR
While there are countless ways to celebrate IWD 2019, Kisling, Nestico & Redick wanted to mark the occasion by recognizing and honoring the hard work of the women in leadership at our firm. Without their professional skills, dedicated advocacy, and years of experience across all of our 11 office locations, we would not be able to serve accident victims in Ohio at such a high level.
