For the 12 Days of Giving, KNR Gave to the Community!

KNR celebrated the holiday season by giving back each day for the first twelve days of December. We had so much fun visiting different people and organizations to make their holidays brighter!

• December 1st: All year long, each of our offices have worn their special Make it Count shirts on Mondays. Each time a staff member wore it, they could put a raffle ticket toward their favorite organization or charity. We kicked off the season of giving with our first Make it Count donation with our winner from the Akron office, Closing Legal Assistant Ashley Willaims! She chose to send our $1,000 donation to Wipe Every Tear.
• December 2nd: For Day 2 of our season of giving, we left out snacks for our delivery drivers to thank them for the wonderful work they do during their busiest season.
• December 3rd: We made another Make it Count donation for our third day of giving! Senior Paralegal Peggy Moran from our Cleveland office chose to donate $1,000 to the Hydrocephalus Association.
• December 4th: Day 4 brought another Make it Count donation with our winner from the Youngstown office, Litigation Team Lead Kim Major! She chose to donate $1,000 to the Brimfield Community Cupboard.
• December 5th: We helped spread holiday cheer for our fifth day of giving by purchasing Christmas Trees for military families for Tree for Troops!
• December 6th: Managing Partner John Reagan dropped off the 376 coats donated during our Coats & Cans for Kids Turkey Giveaway to the Volunteers of America. These coats will help keep local veterans and their families warm this winter!
• December 7th: Another $1,000 Make it Count donation went to the Family House of Toledo for Day 7! This organization, chosen by Support Paralegal Patsy Harvey, strives to help families stay together during times of crisis through various programs.
• December 8th: KNR dropped by One of a Kind Pet Rescue on Day 8 to donate blankets and other supplies for their shelter.
• December 9th: Senior Partner Thomas M. Vasvari met with CEO Paul J. Garchar of Potential Development to donate $500 to their fantastic organization for our ninth day of giving.
• December 10th: Day 10 had KNR’s Toledo office adopting a family! We bought and wrapped Christmas presents from a family’s wish list for Leading Families Home’s Adopt a Family program.
• December 11th: Litigation Paralegal Angi Rider from our Columbus office won our final Make it Count donation this year! She chose to donate $1,000 to the Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
• December 12th: We finished our 12 Days of Giving by adopting another family through Haven of Rest Ministries! Our Akron office bought and wrapped presents for a family in need to help bring more holiday cheer into our community!
