Last weekend and this weekend, Team KNR laced up for one of our favorite fall traditions, the Gourdy’s Pumpkin Run, with events held in Akron on October 18 and Columbus on October 25. Our staff joined hundreds of other runners and walkers to take on the crisp autumn air, scenic trails, and, of course, a few pumpkin-themed challenges, all in support of Girls on the Run.
For many of our team members, Gourdy’s Pumpkin Run has become an annual highlight. The event captures everything we love about autumn in Ohio. Our staff showed up ready to have fun, stay active, and give back. The same way they show up to work every day with determination, teamwork and community spirit.
Some of our staff ran for personal bests, others for the joy of crossing the finish line, but everyone ran for a great cause. Supporting Girls on the Run, an organization that empowers young girls through physical activity and confidence-building programs, makes every step even more meaningful. Events like Gourdy’s Pumpkin Run remind us that giving back doesn’t always happen in a courtroom, it happens in the community as well.
At Kisling, Nestico & Redick, we believe advocacy extends beyond legal cases. Our involvement in events like Gourdy’s Pumpkin Run reflects our commitment to supporting local causes, encouraging wellness, and building stronger Ohio communities. We’re proud to continue running toward positive change.
