Our client was on a small transit bus belonging to a nursing home in Mentor. The bus driver was lowering our client on a wheelchair ramp but failed to put the ramp all the way down on the ground. When the driver went to take him off the ramp, he fell forward onto the ground and broke his left ankle. KNR obtained an $85,000 settlement.
