In Toledo, Ohio, the at-fault driver, operating a dump truck, executed a left turn and entered into the through lane of travel, of which the Plaintiff was proceeding in. As a result of the impact, Plaintiff sustained multiple fractures including a humerus fracture of her left arm, a left forearm fracture, a femur fracture, a heel bone fracture, a right ulna and distal radius fracture, and a right shinbone fracture. Plaintiff underwent multiple surgeries. Plaintiff’s physician indicated her injuries were permanent. Upon litigation began in the case, a settlement was reached for $500,000.
