In Lorain County, the attorneys with KNR recently handled a case on behalf of a 21-year-old man, who was one of three passengers in a car that failed to yield properly at a stop sign and struck another vehicle broadside. The other vehicle was also carrying a passenger and all those involved sustained various injuries. Tragically, the 21-year-old in question succumbed to his injuries and passed away. Obviously devastated, the fatally injured man’s family reached out to KNR for help, who represented the estate during private mediation. After negotiation, KNR was able to settle for the policy limit of $500,000 with $225,000 allocated to the young man’s family and the remaining balance of $275,000.00 divided among the other four individuals involved.

Individual results may vary based on the facts, injuries, jurisdiction, venue, witnesses, parties, and other factors.
