Our LocationsNew Franklin, Ohio, February 21, 2013 – Akron-area-based personal injury law firm Kisling, Nestico and Redick LLC (KNR) announced it raised close to $11,000 for the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank by participating in the 10th Annual Polar Bear Jump Feb. 16 at Portage Lakes.
Team KNR, shown at right, set the bar with 19 jumpers who faced the chilly temperatures in the name of charity, according to firm officials. This was was KNR’s first year to participate in the Polar Bear Jump, a new tradition KNR officials say they will continue for many years to come. Each dollar raised for the event provides four meals for those who are hungry in the community, according to Foodbank officials.
