KNR Cares – November: Coats & Cans for Kids Turkey Giveaway

On Friday, November 22nd, we held our 6th Annual Coats & Cans for Kids Turkey Giveaway. We were excited to once again give away 1,000 turkeys in exchange for non-perishable food items or gently used coats to help families in need this holiday season.

Between the $20,000 donation we made to a local food bank earlier this month, the cans we collected and the turkeys, we provided 87,102 meals to those in need. To date, this event has provided more than 450,000 heartwarming meals for Ohio families.

We also collected 408 coats that will be cleaned courtesy of Dry Cleaning to Your Home and donated to Providence House and the May Dugan Center, organizations committed to helping families with young children.
