Our LocationsJuly was a busy month for Team KNR! This month, we partnered with Children’s Hunger Alliance (CHA), a statewide nonprofit that works to end childhood hunger. To kick off the month, we volunteered at a summer programming event hosted by CHA. The day was full of activities to get kids excited about attending their nutrition programs. Games, face painting, and other fun activities were enjoyed by all, plus, the children received a healthy breakfast and lunch.
We also participated in the CHA’s Lunch Money Challenge, a fundraiser that encourages you to give up your lunch money for the day and instead, donate it to make an impact on the kids in your community. All of our offices raised funds, and, KNR matched 100% of money raised. In the end, we raised over $1,500 to benefit the organization!
Lastly, upon presenting the donation checks, we surprised CHA with brand new Melissa & Doug healthy eating educational toys and playsets. The organization heavily relies on these toys during their nutrition programs.
We thoroughly enjoyed partnering with Children’s Hunger Alliance throughout the month of July!
