Our client was struck in an intersection by the defendant to failed to yield to the right of way in Richland. The client was taken from the accident scene via life-flight and suffered a perforated eardrum, concussion, and a tiny non-displaced fracture along the right TMJ and anterior wall of the external auditory canal. A study suggested mild peripheral vestibular weakness on the right side. There is evidence to suggest mildly impaired oculomotor control with evidence of compensation. Our client was unable to drive for a period of months and underwent physical therapy for impaired ability to walk. KNR settled the case for $80,000.
