1-800-HURT-NOW“After my initial meeting with the attorneys at KNR, it lifted the burden from my shoulders. I felt I had somebody that I could rely on. I would recommend KNR to anyone hurt in an accident. It was a huge relief that they were on my side.”
As one of the largest and most respected personal injury law firms in Ohio, Kisling, Nestico & Redick saw the need for a better approach to personal injury law – one where the claim process is more accessible, and clients recover more of what they deserve. KNR has the resources to fight back against large railroad companies like Norfolk Southern Railway, the skill to demand answers from the NTSB and EPA, and the drive to demand every penny you deserve – and then some.
Our personal injury attorneys also remove as much stress as possible for the clients we care for. We know you're struggling to return home, reopen a business, or dealing with a health condition that may be connected to toxic exposure. That's why KNR works on contingency, which means we receive a standard percentage of what we recover, but you are not responsible for any cost up-front. Working with KNR is easy - If you do not recover compensation, you don’t owe anything.

1-800-HURT-NOWAccording to the NTSB and EPA, many of the railcars involved in the derailment on February 3rd, 2023, contained hazardous materials, including vinyl chloride, which is highly unstable and known to increase cancer risk. To avoid a dangerous explosion, Norfolk Southern executed a controlled release of the vinyl chloride, which required the evacuation of hundreds of residents and several business closures. However, this led to hazardous chemicals contaminating the area's water and air.
Residents have since been told it's safe to return home, but reports of respiratory illness and fears still linger. And while preliminary evidence indicates the derailment and contamination resulted from mechanical issues and negligence by Norfolk Southern, there are likely several parties to hold accountable.
