Law Firm Hosts Annual Coats & Cans for Kids Turkey Giveaway

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Kisling, Nestico & Redick recently hosted its 13th annual Coats & Cans for Kids Turkey Giveaway at Willard Elementary School, providing hundreds of local families with Thanksgiving turkeys and collecting thousands of coats and canned goods for those in need across Ohio.

Over the past 13 years, Kisling, Nestico & Redick’s Coats & Cans for Kids campaign has provided more than 600,000 meals and distributed over 12,000 turkeys to Ohio families, a news release states.

“Every year, this event reminds us what community truly means,” said John J. Reagan, managing partner. “From the families who come out to donate, to our volunteers and our local partners, everyone plays a part in making sure no one goes without a warm meal or coat this holiday season.”

All nonperishable food donations collected will benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley. Coats will be distributed through Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana.

Members of the community can still drop off coats and nonperishable food items at any Kisling, Nestico & Redick office throughout the holiday season.
