Akron – Kisling, Nestico & Redick (KNR) today announced that three of its attorneys are the law firm’s newest partners: Anthony (Tony) D. Hall, Devin J. Oddo and Christopher J. Van Blargan. Each of these attorneys have demonstrated their commitment to KNR’s clients and actively contribute to KNR’s growth and success.

“Chris, Devin, and Tony are all well-deserving of this recognition. Their clients benefit greatly from their extensive experience in personal injury and understanding of the insurance industry, as well as their deep dedication to KNR’s core value of placing clients first,” said John J. Reagan, managing partner. “We couldn’t be more pleased to recognize their efforts and commitment.”

Originally from Tiffin, Ohio, Tony Hall is managing attorney of KNR’s Toledo office and focuses his practice on pre-litigation of car accident and semi-truck accident injury claims. He joined KNR in 2014 as a member of the litigation team in the Columbus office after gaining valuable experience as a general practice attorney. In the spring of 2015, when KNR opened a fully staffed office in Toledo, Tony jumped at the opportunity to return to Northwest Ohio.

“Tony’s leadership and his infectious, positive attitude has directly led to the Toledo office’s success,” said Reagan. “He works hard to ensure his clients get the respect and compensation they deserve from large insurance companies.”

Tony earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Corporate Finance from The University of Toledo and his J.D. from The University of Toledo College of Law. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2011.

Devin J. Oddo joined Kisling, Nestico & Redick in 2012 after spending the majority of his legal career representing insurance companies and large corporations in employment law, age discrimination, agricultural law and personal injury cases before state and federal courts throughout the country. The valuable insight Devin gained while representing these corporations enables him to effectively represent injured victims in various types of claims against insurance companies.

“Devin is one of the most reliable and hard-working advocates you will meet, obtaining hundreds of settlements and significant recoveries each year on behalf of our clients,” said Reagan.

Devin was admitted to the Ohio bar in 1998, the U.S. District Court of Northern Ohio in 1998 and the U.S. District of Southern Ohio in 2000. He earned a bachelor of arts in psychology from Kenyon College and went on to earn his J.D. from the University of Akron Law School.

Christopher J. Van Blargan grew up in Northeast Ohio, where he has spent his legal career. He joined KNR in 2012, having gained extensive experience in civil litigation representing injured individuals and insurers, including medical malpractice, employer intentional tort, product liability, truck and automobile liability, and insurance coverage disputes.

Chris is admitted to practice in all Ohio courts, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the United States Court of Federal Claims, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He has participated in and tried cases throughout Ohio at all levels, including the Supreme Court of Ohio. He earned a bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University and his law degree from the University of Akron School of Law.

“Chris has become an invaluable resource for all of our attorneys and has played an enormous role in many of the firm’s most significant injury and wrongful death cases,” said Reagan.
