In 2017, statistics by Ohio State Highway Patrol showed that 39% of fatal crashes were as a result of texting or emailing while driving. Kisling, Nestico & Redick has been continuously working towards achieving safe roads through raising awareness to drivers and road users using the “KNR Don’t Text & Drive Scholarship” program.
Kisling, Nestico & Redick recently declared Elianna Norin as the $5000 scholarship winner for her efforts to create a proposal that urged young drivers to desist from texting/emailing while on the wheels. Selected from over 400 applicants, her application was chosen because of its creativity in the script. She has planned to enroll at Savannah College of Art and Design to study for a degree in graphic design and animation with the $5000 covering her tuition fee.
