Greater Cleveland YMCA partners with Akron law firm for free bike helmet giveaway

LAKEWOOD, Ohio (cleveland.com)– Summer is prime bike riding time for children, which also increases their chance for injury.

According to Nationwide Children’s Hospital, bicycle crashes annually cause more than 200 child fatalities, as well as lead to 350,000 injuries for youth under the age of 15.

That’s why for the second time in three years, Kisling, Nestico & Redick (KNR) is focusing its efforts in hopes that children develop helmet-wearing habits early in life.
