As we welcome the warmer weather of spring in Ohio, Team KNR kick started the beginning of our race season! Our dedicated staff has been actively participating in various events across the state, showcasing our commitment to both fitness and our community.
This month, we had the pleasure of kicking things off with a beautiful 5K along the shoreline at Portage Lakes. Settlement Supervisor Leeanna T. dashed through the Run to the Beach 5K, fully supporting the Portage Lakes Advisory Council’s mission to preserve these stunning waters and enhance life within the watershed.
Next on our agenda, our Columbus team hit the ground running at the Hustle for Habitat 5K, where we teamed up with the Westerville Habitat Partnership. This organization tirelessly advocates for Habitat for Humanity in Delaware and Union Counties, raising funds to facilitate homebuilding projects and special events that benefit our community.
The spirit of the railway was alive and well as Litigation Team Lead Kim M. took to the trails for the Rails to Trails race, embracing the breathtaking landscapes of Northeast Ohio.
Meanwhile, Attorney Kaitlyn Vasvari proudly represented us at the University of Akron School of Law’s annual Race Judicata 5K, raising awareness and funds for the Akron Bar Foundation, which provides critical scholarships and grants to aspiring attorneys.
On the western side of the state, Litigation Assistant Rachel O. participated in the Savage 5k as part of the Glass City Marathon. Her efforts supported Northwest Ohio nonprofits that are doing remarkable work for the local community.
Our superstar for the month, KNR Marketing Coordinator Ciara B., participated in three races in a single month! She kicked things off with the RunHer Society 5K, then huddled up on the 50 at the Ohio State 4 Miler, before tackling the Draft Day 10K at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Each of these events raised vital funds for remarkable organizations, including the New Life Serenity Center, which helps women in sobriety rebuild their lives; the Buckeye Cruise for Cancer; and the Miles to Go Running Charities Inc. which supports various programs benefiting our community, such as Kids Run Canton, Military Runs Free, and the Run to You Racing Scholarship Program.
At KNR, we are not just about advocating for our clients in the courtroom. We are deeply passionate about engaging with our neighbors, promoting wellness, and supporting causes that matter to us all. Whether it’s crossing the finish line ourselves or cheering on others from the sidelines, we are honored to be part of these incredible community events.
