KNR Uses Our Strength for Neurofibromatosis

Tackling Rainy Weather for #NFStrong

KNR Attorney Kaitlyn Vasvari braved the damp weather to participate in the #NFStrong 5k and Fun Run in Boardman. This annual event brings the community together to raise funds for research and programs for those with neurofibromatosis (NF).

Understanding Neurofibromatosis

NF is a genetic disorder that causes tumors to form on nerve tissue. These tumors can develop anywhere in the nervous system and can lead to serious health complications. 

NF is typically diagnosed in early childhood or adulthood and can result in various physical and neurological challenges.

Fighting for Futures

Celebrating its twelfth year at Boardman, #NFStrong aims to strengthen community bonds while supporting the efforts of the NF Network.  

The NF Network is a nonprofit organization is dedicated to finding treatments and a cure for neurofibromatosis. They promote scientific research, enhance clinical care, and provide education and awareness, offering hope and support to those affected by NF.
