KNR Attorney Kaitlyn Vasvari didn’t let the rain stop her from joining the #NFStrong 5K and Fun Run in Boardman, Ohio. This inspiring annual event unites the community to raise funds and awareness for neurofibromatosis (NF) research and support programs.

What Is Neurofibromatosis?

Neurofibromatosis (NF) is a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerve tissue. These tumors can appear anywhere in the nervous system and may lead to serious health complications. NF is often diagnosed in childhood or young adulthood and can result in a range of physical and neurological challenges.

Now celebrating its twelfth year in Boardman, the #NFStrong 5K helps strengthen community bonds while supporting the NF Network’s mission. The NF Network is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing research, improving clinical care, and raising awareness.
