KNR Celebrates National Blood Donor Month

January is the beginning of a new year and the perfect time to start the year celebrating National Blood Donor Month.

Donations of blood and platelets tend to decline in the winter while the need increases. Millions of people including cancer patients, organ recipients and car accident victims rely on blood donations from others. This month, we had over 13 members of Team KNR pledge to roll up their sleeves and donate blood!

Many of our team were first time donors while others have taken part in this event in the past. The common theme is that everyone donates because giving back and helping others is important to them. Together our donations have the potential to save over 39 lives!
