Law Firm Provides 15,000 Meals For Less-Fortunate Families This Holiday Season

Akron, OH, November 23, 2015 – Ohio-based personal injury law firm, Kisling Nestico & Redick (KNR) recently hosted the third annual KNR Turkey Giveaway and Coats & Cans for Kids drive in Akron. Up to 1,000 Butterball turkeys were handed out to those who made the trip to the West Market Street offices of KNR. In exchange for the turkeys, KNR collected nearly 3,000 pounds of canned goods and hundreds of coats for donation to The Salvation Army.

“The Turkey Giveaway was a huge success,” says Managing Partner, Rob Nestico. “Each year we give away more turkeys and collect even more coats and cans, which only means more people in the community are receiving the help they need.”

The KNR Turkey Giveaway has become a staple event at the law firm and the excitement can be felt in the office leading up to the day.

“This year we had so many volunteers that we had to draw names from a hat to determine who could participate,” says Director of Operations, Brandy Brewer. “We love giving back throughout the entire year, but the Turkey Giveaway gives us a chance to see first-hand the difference we can make.”

The KNR Turkey Giveaway took place Friday, November 23, 2015, and served as the kick-off for Cleveland 19 News’ Share Your Holidays campaign. Students from Kenmore High School assisted in collecting donations and Santa Claus and the KNR Turkeys served in providing entertainment for those who waited in line.
