Kisling, Nestico & Redick To Give Away 1,000 Thanksgiving Turkeys To Families In Need

Nov 19, 2015 News Articles – Press Release

Akron, OH, November 19, 2015 – The third annual KNR Turkey Giveaway and Coats & Cans for Kids drive is upon us and the turnout this year is expected to far exceed years past. In exchange for a non-perishable food item to benefit the Akron-Canton Foodbank or a gently used coat to benefit The Salvation Army of Summit County and the Volunteers of America, the attorneys at Kisling, Nestico & Redick will give you a free Thanksgiving turkey.

“All we ask in return is that everyone pays it forward and donates an item to someone else. This ensures we’re clothing kids for cold weather, providing turkeys to families that are less fortunate, and it also helps to stock the foodbank shelves for meals throughout the year,” says Attorney Rob Nestico.

Cleveland 19 News will be kicking off their annual “Share Your Holidays” campaign, the single largest donation drive in Northeast Ohio, at the KNR Turkey Giveaway. Joining them will be mascots from the Akron RubberDucks and Racers, the KNR Turkey, Santa Claus, students, athletes, and an acapella group from Kenmore High School. Christmas music will be playing to get everyone in the spirit and the ESPN Street Team will be giving away prizes to help entertain the crowd.

“We’re really trying to spread the word as much as we can to ensure people in need are the ones who get the turkeys,” says Nestico.
