May is Military Appreciation Month and we’re recognizing two veterans right here at KNR!
Attorney Ronald Stump served in the Army National Guard for 12 years. He completed a tour of duty as an infantry officer in Afghanistan from 2005 to 2006 and was initially stationed at Camp Phoenix in Kabul where he served as a Battle Captain at the Joint Operations Center. He later transferred to a unit in Kandahar where he served as a Rifle Platoon Leader and led convoy escort missions into Helmand Province.
Senior Paralegal Dawn Urban served in the Navy as an aviation/aircrewman for six years (1988-1994) and was stationed in Norfolk, Virginia and Sigonella, Sicily. She had the chance to explore the world, visiting Puerto Rico, Norway, Iceland, Scotland, Greenland, England, Turkey, Israel, and many more. She worked many missions with the Navy Seals, met a lot of interesting people and made lifetime friends!
