Team KNR Treks Through the Mud in Ohio’s 2018 Warrior Dash

On July 21, 2018, Team KNR, once again trekked through the mud and muck to compete in Ohio’s 2018 Warrior Dash. The 5k obstacle course took place at Clay’s Park Resort in North Lawrence, OH and benefited the patients at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Since 2009, this get-dirty race and festival has been enjoyed by over three million Warriors worldwide. This year represented KNR’s third time participating, where they raced, tackled, climbed, slipped, slid, tunneled and ultimately conquered 12 obstacles with the money raised by the St. Jude Warriors going directly towards the St. Jude Red Frog Events Proton Therapy Center. Proton therapy is the most advanced form of radiation technology available to patients. This will be the first in the world dedicated solely to children, designed specifically to meet the needs of young patients.

After the race, participants were presented with medals, t-shirts, a Warrior helmet, and an incredible post-race festival with a live DJ, food and drinks, and activities, where competitors and spectators alike came together to revel in their achievement.
