KNR Walks to Support Animals in Need

Gathering in Scioto Audubon Metro Park with her canine companion, KNR Closing Paralegal Alyssa B. joined hundreds of participants and animals as the 7th Annual Stop the Suffering 5k/1-Mile Race was set to begin. 

Animals in Need of Aid

Every step taken in the annual race is a step towards hope for the animals in need. The proceeds directly support Stop the Suffering Animal Rescue, aiding in the rescue of dogs and cats from high-kill shelters, primarily in Ohio, and their safe transportation to a better life. 

This organization operates several programs, including a dog adoption program that matches dogs to their forever homes, provides veterinary care, transportation, and food for rescued animals, and provides resources to promote responsible pet ownership.
