KNR recently partnered with Keep Akron Beautiful to clean up our local parks. Members of our team headed to Summit Lake Park with trash bags, gloves and grabbers to rid the park of litter. We combed the walkways, lakeside and playgrounds to clean up any stray pieces of trash in order to make our city a cleaner and healthier place to be!
“Littering is an issue that is 100 percent preventable. By cleaning up the park and pledging to leave our outdoor areas even cleaner than we found them, we’re taking a step toward bettering our community,” said KNR Director of Operations, Brandy Gobrogge.
We’re so thrilled to have teamed up with Keep Akron Beautiful on this project. They provided us with the bags, gloves, sanitizer and more so that we could clean up the park safely. KAB has been working to keep our community clean through comprehensive litter prevention, recycling promotion and beautification programs since 1981!
