Being a Spirit of Hope for Annual Walk

KNR Becomes Spirit Sponsors for Hope Walk 2024

With Disney Princesses, stormtroopers, and people abound, the atmosphere surrounding Stewart’s Caring Place was exciting as many participants gathered. 

A Day of Strength and Stormtroopers

Catching the glimmer of a sunrise through the heavy clouds, the 2024 Hope Walk kicked off with a Sunrise Yoga, followed by various businesses, activities, and food trucks to keep everyone busy before the walk could begin.

Representing KNR, Social Media Coordinator Kes S. mingled with the crowd, learning about their efforts to help cancer patients. 

Roar of the Motorcycles

With the roar of a dozen motorcycles, the walk began! A brisk 2-mile walk through Fairlawn, the trail allowed participants to pace themselves with their families and friends as they traversed through the local neighborhoods around the center. 

Each step taken by the participants was a testament to the community’s united support for Stewart’s Caring Place’s mission to provide free support services for individuals and families affected by cancer.
