Akron mom dealt a bad year, gets help from unexpected source

AKRON, Ohio — It’s been a whirlwind of a year for Meredith Wagler and her two daughters.

She moved into her Akron home about a month ago, but it wasn’t long after they settled in, they were robbed.

On Black Friday, Wagler walked into her home to find her belongings in disarray.

“I walked upstairs to my room and I noticed my closet was open, my laptop was gone all my Christmas gifts I had hidden in there were gone, all my jewelry was gone,” Wagler said.
