KNR Recognizes Local Veteran with Early Thanksgiving Meal

On Monday, November 12, Team KNR honored local veteran, Harvey PJ Leak, for his 13 months serving in Korea during the Korean War. KNR provided Harvey and his family an entire Thanksgiving meal, with all the fixings.

Leek then presented KNR’s Managing Partner Rob Nestico with a gold medal that he won during the swimming portion of the National Veterans Wheelchair Games this past summer, in gratitude for KNR’s sponsorship.

The meal giveaway came just days before the 2018 KNR Coats & Cans for Kids Turkey Giveaway, where attendees can receive a free turkey for their coat or can donation. All donations will benefit the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, The Salvation Army & Volunteers of America.

This year’s Giveaway is at a new time, 12 p.m. – 4 p.m., this Friday at KNR’s Akron office, 3412 W Market St., Fairlawn OH 44333.
